It may not be the official start of Summer but Samuel Adams disagrees. Over the weekend I sampled their "Beers of Summer" variety pack for so much needed thirst quenching beverages. This week, I will be highlighting three beers from this pack.
The first beer is called Little White Rye and it had an intriguing taste to it. Upon the first sip, I noticed that a distinct flavor was in the beer. Sure enough it was sage which gave the beer a spectacular flavor. Normally I like sage with fish or chicken but I would not have thought to add it to a beer. It was great.
