While in Jacksonville, my family and I were made aware of an exceptional eatery. The name is Tres Leches eatery and the food was absolutely amazing. While dining we had a few different sandwiches which were all fantastic. The Artisan Bread Sandwich consisted of a biscuit type bread infused with spinach and layered with ham or turkey. The Bocadillo Daniel is a pulled pork sandwich served with black beans. This sandwich is similar to a Cuban Sandwich. The Bocadillo Manolo is covered with marinated tomatoes with ham. To top it off with a dessert, the signature Tres Leches was just awesome. The rich flavor really came through with every bite.
What makes Tres Leches eatery a special place are the owners Eddie and Irene. They are compassionate and driven individuals which make the restaurant a success. They treat you like family. My late sister Gretchen, who recently passed away, had worked at Tres Leches as the Executive Chef. Eddie and Irene took her in and were very good to her. My family and I will always be thankful for what they did for my sister. Thank you Eddie, Irene, and the rest of the Tres Leches family for your generous hearts.
If you are ever in the Jacksonville area, I encourage you to stop in. You will be glad that you did. Don't be surprised if you see multiple Tres Leches locations in the future. For more information, visit
Tres Leches. Enjoy!
