CHINESE FIVE-SPICE GRILLED FLANK STEAK
- 1-2 regular sized flank steaks
- ½ cup veggie oil
- 1 tablespoon Chinese Five-Spice powder
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped (may use half the amount of dried thyme)
- 3 tablespoons honey
- Pinch of salt and pepper
Mix all ingredients and marinate steak for at least 30 minutes. Grill at medium temperature for 5-8 minutes per side, until desired readiness is reached. Slice into strips and serve with grilled corn and rice.
