Aye Aye Matey

Here are a few more recipes which focus on seafood.  If you like salmon, try this recipe.  The orange taste of the glaze is a perfect compliment to the taste of the salmon.


ORANGE HONEY MARINADE FOR SALMON


• 1/3 cup orange juice

• 1/3 cup soy sauce

• 3 tablespoons vegetable or peanut oil

• 3 tablespoons ketchup

• 1 tablespoon honey

• ½ teaspoon ground ginger

• 1 clove garlic, minced or crushed

• 4 salmon steaks

Mix first 7 ingredients and marinate salmon steaks for at least 2 hours—the longer the better. Grill or bake—or use your favorite method.

 
 
SHRIMP CRAB CASSEROLE


• 1 can cream of shrimp soup

• 2/3 cup milk

• ½ cup mayonnaise

• 2 cups fine egg noodles, boiled and drained

• ¼ cup grated, or shredded cheddar cheese

• Crab meat (fresh, imitation or canned)

• Small salad shrimps

Mix altogether and cover with another ¼ cup cheddar cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
