Apple Dapple

GERMAN APPLE CAKE


• 4 cups sliced apples (use McIntosh or Granny Smith, peeled, cored, and sliced)

• 2 eggs

• 1 cup oil

• 2 cups sugar

• 1 teaspoon vanilla

• 1 teaspoon baking soda dissolved in 1-1/2 teaspoon water

• 2 cups flour

• 4 teaspoons cinnamon

• ½ teaspoon salt

• 1 cup chopped nuts



Place sliced apples on the bottom of a 9x13 prepared baking pan. Mix the rest of the ingredients together and pour on top of apples. Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until done. I use a combination of Granny Smith and McIntosh apples.
