Where's the Beef? Here it is!

A great beef sandwich.

GRILLED BEEFWICHES

• 1 tablespoon dry onion soup mix

• 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

• Dash of pepper

• 6 tablespoons butter, softened

• 8 slices white bread

• 8 thin slices cooked roast beef

• 4 slices Swiss cheese

Soften soup mix in 1 tablespoon water. Stir soup mix, horseradish, and pepper into butter. Spread on both sides of each slice of bread. Top each of 4 slices of bread with 2 slices of beef, 1 slice of cheese, and then a second slice of bread. Brown sandwiches on a medium-hot griddle until cheese melts, about 10 minutes, turning once.
